So, I was trying to get a video of Carter rolling over because he just learned how and this is what I got. The funniest part is towards the end when Jason rips one. I couldn't stop laughing when I heard it again on the video. Hopefully you will get a kick out of it.

Heise
Last weekend we went on what was probably our last family outing this summer. How sad! We had a blast though. Jason and I got there a little later than everyone else, big surprise, and we were a little worried because Dad called and was making jokes about our so called cabin. You see... they rented me and Jason a cabin so that Carter wouldn't freeze at night while the rest of them slept out in tents. When we finally arrived and saw the cabin, I couldn't help but laugh. You see... it wasn't really a cabin. It was more of an old house that they rented out and called it a cabin. I was totally disgusted when we walked inside and saw all the rodent killer, dirty old carpets, a dirty old bathroom that could hardly fit one person in it, and finally the twin sized beds in the rooms. Haha! Yea, you guessed it. Me and Jason slept in separate beds. It wasn't that bad though because we spent the majority of our time at the camp site around the fire. I have to laugh because Saturday morning my dad called me and told me to look outside the "cabin" at the bottom of a tree and tell him what I saw. So... I looked and saw what looked like bear poop. No joke. Lindsey was already scared and this didn't help at all. (Linds, I know that you are going to read this, and it's ok. We still love you!) So my mom started asking around and we found out that the poop was just raccoon poop. Not so scary. Then later that night Rick was shooting at some raccoons with an air-soft gun. He sure showed them! So.. we found that the raccoon theory was a definite possibility. I just love spending time with my family and it is times like these that makes me grateful that my family is the way that they are. Never a dull moment!

Carter Pictures
For some reason when we had our Rigby family pictures, Carter didn't get his individuals taken so we had to go back and have them taken. So... here they are!

On The Rebound
Well... Braden finally got his cast off! I was so excited. I had to make this adventure alone because Jason almost passed out when Braden got his cast on. So... instead of having to worry about 3 babies, I left the biggest one home! Luckily I was able to leave Carter with my mom so that I wouldn't have to try to keep him happy while dealing with Braden. The appointment started a little rocky because Braden was scared to death of the saw that they used to cut his cast off. Who wouldn't be though? I was just hoping that they didn't cut his arm off with it. All they use to keep it from cutting the skin is a little dinky plastic stick. Scary! Then we had to wait for freakin 30 minutes to see the doctor and I had to keep Braden still the entire time. Have you ever tried to keep a two year old still? Yea, not an easy task. Finally some intern or something (I am not sure what he was. All I know is that he didn't know what the heck he was doing.) came and looked at the x-rays and got the doctor's permission to take the pins out. I thought that Braden would scream his eyes out, but he surprised me and didn't make a peep. I don't know if it was because it didn't hurt or because he was devouring the lolly pop that they gave him. Either way it went great. Then the stupid intern guy reached in the garbage and got his old cast out to use for a splint. Gross. He then tried to sound smart by telling me what we needed to do for Braden and when we needed to see him next. Just then the doctor poked his head in the room and told me what we really needed to do and said, "See you in a month." Hahaha. I think that the intern felt so dumb! When I talked to Jason all that he was concerned about was if I kept the pins, which I didn't. He was so mad! He actually told me to go back and get them. He didn't let it go all night and I finally had to tell him that it was too late and that the doctor threw them away. Oh well. I was just so happy that I was able to give Braden a good bath the next day! He loved it too!

Roxie
Well... it finally happened. Jason finally bought me a dog! I have been begging him for months to let us get a dog but he kept telling me that we needed a fence first. Then... one day Jason surprised me with one. I had no idea he was going to go pick up a dog. He told me that some friends here in Grace needed some help and he was going over to their house and would be back in a few. Little did I know, he drove to Soda and met a lady that was selling puppies and bought one. Then... he came home and acted like nothing happened. I could hear Braden in the kitchen doing something so I went to check it out and there was this cute little puppy just sitting there. I am so dumb. I yelled to Jason and said that a dog got in our house and he came in and asked me if I wanted it. I couldn't believe it. She is a black lab retriever cross, which is what I have ALWAYS wanted. Braden loves her to death. They both run around and chase each other all over. It is funny because she always tackles him and he thinks it is hilarious. I am happy that Braden has a new playmate that can keep up with him because I sure can't!
