Playing in the leaves/ FYI

Yesterday Jason was raking up the leaves in our front yard and Braden was having a blast playing and helping dad. I hurried and ran inside and grabbed the camera before it got too dark and took a few pics. You can tell that he is having a blast! Keep in mind that the leaves are just in the front yard (we have a zillion). As you can see by the pictures the back of our truck is completely full of leaves. Obviously we have been slacking a little bit. Oh well! It made it more fun for Braden.

FYI... Kameron got his mission call! He is going to Des Moines, Iowa!

Awe Crap!

So the funniest thing happened today! Well... most of you probably wouldn't think that it is funny, but I kinda thought that it was. Given the circumstances. We were at Jason's mom's house for F.H.E. and we were waiting for Alyssa to get back from some choir practice. Someone was supposed to go and pick her up but no one wanted to (figures). So... Brantley (Mel's boyfriend) offered to go and pick her up, being the nice guy that he is. So... he left and not one minute went buy and Mel's phone rang and it was Brantley. I could tell by the sound in her voice that something was wrong and I saw her look out the window. So... I looked and saw the front of my car smashed. Haha. Apparently Brantley didn't notice that our car was parked behind his when he went to back out and he backed right into it. Poor guy. He felt so bad. Nothing happened to his truck but as you can see... he got my car pretty good. I am just glad that no one got hurt!

Conference, potty training, and a shaved head...

As you can see by my title, I have had an exciting weekend. Mom, Dad, Lindsey Rick, Madi, Halle, and Tara all came down for the weekend to watch conference at my house. It was so fun. I just wish that I had a bigger house so that mom and dad wouldn't have to bring the 5th wheel along and Linds and her family wouldn't have to sleep on couches. Haha! I guess that is what makes it exciting. Conference was great! Well.... the parts that I heard. It is so hard to pay attention with kids running around! It is a good thing that they have all the talks in the ensign.

So, my next excitement was that Braden finally went pee in his little potty. YAY! It is about time. I have been trying FOREVER to get him to do it. I kinda felt bad because just before I sat him down I scolded him for messing up my laundry piles and then I spanked him. I guess that you could say that I scared the pee out of him! Too bad he hasn't gone on the potty since. Oh well, I guess that is a start.

Now for the best news. I shaved another head. No, it wasn't Carter's this time, thank goodness! Jason has been wanting to shave his head for like a month now but he never got the nerves to do it so I finally said, "Just do it!" So... we did. Haha. I thought that he was going to look a little silly, but I think that he looks HOT! You will have to let me know what you all think about it.

Here are some pictures of everyone "watching conference."
