What a week!

Holy cow! I can't even begin to tell you how glad I am that the holidays are finally over. I know that sounds bad... but we had a crazy week. Mel and Kam went through the temple on the 23rd of December. Then there was Christmas Eve and Christmas with the Rigby's in Pocatello. The next day was Mel and Brantly's reception (Braden puked all morning that morning and I was pulling my hair out!) Then the next day was the wedding, and then finally the next day was Kam's farewell. Am I missing anything? Keep in mind that this entire week was the storm of the century! (Yes mom... I get my exaggeration from you) Phew! I am so ready to relax!

Here are my cute boys Christmas morning!

This was the view from my parents backyard when we woke up on Christmas

Braden loved the olives at the reception

Here are the two love birds

This is how Carter was the whole week.

Rub-a-dub-dub

Don't worry... I won't post any more pictures with my kids' woohoo's. These ones are just some fun pics taken at mom's house the other day. Braden sure loves his cousins! Can you blame him?

Happy Birthday Braden!

Well... on Sunday (November 30th) Braden turned two years old. I feel like an old lady. I can't believe that my baby is two! The poor kid was sick on his birthday but he sure loved opening his presents. He would get so excited about one that he wouldn't want to open the other one until he finally figured out that he liked everything that he had gotten so far. We did have to send him downstairs to watch Cars (his favorite movie) with his cousins, but that was ok. Oh... and he didn't even eat his birthday cake, which I slaved all day over.... j/k. Anyone who knows me knows that I am not a cook so if there is an easier way to cook something, I am all over it. I am so thankful for family and friends and for them coming to his party and giving him wonderful gifts. He loves EVERYTHING. My house cannot get clean because he loves playing with all of his new toys. That is good, I guess. Anyway... Happy Birthday Braden!

FYI~ I took like a zillion pictures so I put them in a slide show. Hope you like em!

My how time flies

I can't believe how fast time flies. It seems like just yesterday I was back at my mom's house without a care in the world.... and now, Braden will be two on Sunday and Carter just started sitting up. Holy cow! I was sitting at my cousin's house the other day holding her new baby and I looked over at my kids and couldn't believe how big they seemed. It seems like I just had Braden and now I have another baby. Yes... I did kinda take things fast and all... but you mothers out there know what I am talking about. It seems like there just are not enough seconds in the day for me to spend time with them. Like... when they wake up they seem like they have grown two inches. I know, I know... just wait until they get married (I know mom). I just wish that they could just stay small and never grow up. I know that some day they are going to realize that there is life out there besides mom and dad and that is going to suck! I hope that my kids always think that I am the best (because lets face it... I totally am!).

Just for Fun!

Jason took some pics tonight for fun and they were too cute to not post. I have the cutest boys EVER!

Here is Braden trying to be a good big brother. Notice that Carter is just about as big as he is!

This one is goofy of both of them

Mel's Engaged!

I totally forgot that I didn't post that Melanie (my sister-in-law) is engaged! Plans are for a December 27th (I think) wedding in the Logan temple. I am so happy for her! Susan is going to have a busy couple of months with the wedding and Kam leaving on his mission. I am glad it's not me!

Halloween Fun

Well... Halloween turned out much better than I was expecting. I was really worried because Braden was supposed to be Spongebob Squarepants, but his costume didn't come. Then Carter's costume was way too big for him so I was stressing out. Luckily Carter's costume fit Braden, and Braden's costume last year fit Carter. It all worked out great. And my kids were adorable. I have to say... I have the cutest little boys EVER! We went to Poky for a trunk or treat with my sisters and then went to Lindsey's house and pigged out on all the food we could eat. Jason took Braden out trick or treating with Rick and Madi and they had a blast. Jason said that Braden just followed Madi around every where and then yelled "trick or treat" when he was told to. What a cute little guy. Now I just need to find a way to eat all the candy without gaining 10 lbs!

By the way, if you can't tell what their costumes are... Braden is Shrek and Carter is The Hulk.
